Currently, many medical facilities in the region rely on traditional agar plate sampling, which suffers from long incubation periods and high contamination rates. The urgent need for real-time biological detection is driven by the necessity to mitigate the spread of zoonotic diseases and healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) in overcrowded urban clinics.
Furthermore, the economic shift toward specialized medical manufacturing in Cameroon requires stringent cleanroom validation. Implementing automated bio detection allows local manufacturers to meet international ISO standards, ensuring that medical devices produced locally are free from biological contaminants.
