Currently, many diagnostic centers rely on passive sampling, which lacks the immediacy required for rapid response in high-risk clinical settings.
The necessity for robust bioaerosol detection has increased as the country expands its specialized medical manufacturing and treatment hubs. However, the integration of automated systems is often hindered by power stability and the need for specialized technical maintenance.
Despite these hurdles, there is a growing movement toward upgrading healthcare infrastructure in Lusaka and the Copperbelt. The shift toward precision biological detection is now seen as a critical component of national biosafety and pandemic preparedness strategies.
